Home Spa Bathroom

December 2019
One of the greatest pleasures is being able to relax in your own home. The Spa bathroom is a great solution for anyone who likes care rituals. How to create a space like this in your home?

Shower in a Spa Bathroom

Although for many people spa is synonymous with a tub full of water and foam, SPA is an acronym for sanus per aquam or healthy through water. Long baths in hot water are not good for your skin. Moreover inappropriately applied essential oils can be an irritating factor. Therefore we suggest an elegant SanSwiss shower cabin - if possible, a large one with a rain-head and hydro-massage, which will be the bathroom's centre piece.

You can take a hot relaxing shower, or a refreshing cold one. Under the shower it is easy to apply peeling to your body, and rinse it off, and take care of your hair applying nourishing oils.

Lighting in a Spa Bathroom

Although initially you may want to buy wax candles and put them in the corners, we advise against it. Candles look wonderful, but they are neither safe nor easy to maintain. If you've tried removing wax from the floor, especially a wooden one, you know what we mean. A better solution are LED strips, which can emphasize architectural intricacies of the space. You can also set up small lanterns with LED candles inside.

Cosmetics in the Spa Bathroom

Many brands offer special bath and shower cosmetics, essential oils for massage or sensual body lotions. Although spa ambience is often associated with oriental aromas of patchouli or ylang-ylang, you can also look for more refreshing aromas of lemon grass, eucalyptus or verbena. Buy in bulk only when you are certain this is the right aroma for you. After all, time spent in the spa bathroom is supposed to be your pleasure!
